Our tees come in unisex sizes S, M, L, XL, and 2XL, designed to fit a wide range of body types. The cut is a classic unisex fit — true to size with a comfortable, lightly relaxed drape that works whether you like it fitted or roomy. Every product page includes a detailed Size Chart so you can find your perfect fit before ordering.

The easiest way is to grab a t-shirt you already love, lay it flat, and compare its measurements to our Size Chart (linked right under the size selector on every product page). You can also measure around the fullest part of your chest. Since the fit is unisex, if you're between sizes or prefer a looser, more relaxed look, we'd suggest sizing up. Still unsure? Every BY CHARLES tee is made from premium Bella+Canvas 3001 — 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. That extra combing process removes impurities and shorter fibers, leaving an exceptionally soft, smooth, and durable fabric that holds its shape wash after wash. (A few of our heather shades use a small cotton/poly blend to achieve their signature marled texture.)

Our shirts are pre-shrunk, so you can expect minimal shrinkage — typically less than 5%. To keep them fitting their best, wash cold and tumble dry low or hang to dry; high heat is the main culprit for shrinkage with any cotton garment. Follow the care steps below and your tee will keep looking and fitting great for years.

To keep your design crisp and your shirt feeling soft: machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors; tumble dry low or hang to dry; avoid bleach and fabric softeners; and don't iron directly over the print. A little gentle care goes a long way — treated right, your tee and its design will look great wash after wash.

We offer 21 colors across the collection — from timeless Black, White, and Navy to Baby Blue, Maroon, Heather Mauve, and many more. The exact colors available for each design are shown right on its product page; just tap through the color swatches to see every option for that style.

We use professional direct-to-garment (DTG) printing with high-quality, eco-friendly water-based inks. Unlike heavy screen prints that sit on top of the fabric, DTG inks soak into the cotton fibers — so the design feels soft to the touch, breathes with the shirt, and looks crisp and detailed. Each shirt is printed to order, just for you.

Cared for properly, your print is built to last and resist cracking, peeling, and fading — the water-based inks bond directly with the cotton for lasting durability. The best way to protect it: wash cold and inside out, tumble dry low or hang dry, and skip the bleach and direct ironing. Follow those simple steps and your design will stay vibrant for a long time.

We love hearing where you want to go! We're always adding new destinations, and customer requests genuinely shape what we drop next. Not at this time — we don't currently offer personalized or custom-text shirts. Every BY CHARLES design is part of our curated destination collections, created to capture the feeling of each place. We know custom pieces would be special, though, and it's something we may explore down the road — so keep an eye out, and feel free to contact us to share what you'd love to see.

Right now, each design comes in the specific colorways shown on its product page, and we aren't able to offer custom print colors or one-off combinations. Our palettes are carefully chosen to complement each destination's vibe. If there's a color pairing you'd really love, let us know through our Contact page — customer feedback helps guide future collections, so it's never a wasted message.

Because every shirt is printed to order just for you, there's a short production window of about 2–5 business days before your order ships. After that, standard delivery within the US typically takes another 3–7 business days. You'll receive a tracking link by email the moment your order is on its way.

Not at this time — we currently ship within the United States only. We don't offer international shipping yet, but it's on our radar as we grow, so be sure to check back in the future. If you're outside the US and interested, feel free to reach out and let us know — it genuinely helps us plan.

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order — and we offer FREE shipping when you purchase 2 or more shirts. So if you're eyeing a couple of destinations (or shopping with a friend), bundling up is the way to go.

If you spot a mistake, contact us as quickly as possible — ideally within a couple of hours of ordering. Because we print and fulfill quickly, we can usually update your shipping address only before the order enters production. We'll always do our best to help, so reach out right away through our Contact page and we'll see what we can do.

Because every shirt is custom printed to order specifically for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for an incorrect size or a change of mind. We know that's a little different from big-box retailers, but it's what lets us keep waste low and quality high. We do fully stand behind our craftsmanship, though — if anything's wrong with your order, we'll make it right (see below).

We're so sorry — that's not the experience we want for you! If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, just contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or issue a refund. No hassle, no runaround — you're fully covered by our 30-Day Guarantee.

If you need to cancel or change an order, reach out as soon as you can after placing it. Since we move quickly to print and ship, we can usually make changes only before your order enters production. Contact us right away and we'll do everything we can to help.

Because each shirt is made to order, we're not able to offer exchanges for an incorrect size selection. We'd genuinely love to help you avoid that, though — please check the Size Chart on the product page before ordering, and if you're ever unsure, message us first and we'll help you choose the right fit.
